Description
Special Harvest | Japan’s Basic Daily Infusion | This traditional Japanese (Mugi Cha) and Korean (Bori Cha) grain tisane is created from roasted barley. Served cold in the summer, hot in the winter, this light fruity-bitter drink helps with its alkylpyranzine content to cleanse the blood and reduce stress. The preparation is an 8 minute infusion or a simmering process for a few minutes. To lightly sweeten consider Rock Candy Crystals.
Theine (caffeine) content: None | Gift Tin Packaging (reusable & recyclable)
Ingredients: Prime Grade roasted barley from Japan.
Suggested Water Temperature: 212 F – Infusion Time: 8 Minutes – Serve Hot or Iced
Preparation: Bring fresh water to the boil. Warm up tea-pot by rinsing it with hot water. Fill one heaped teaspoon per 8 oz cup of this MUGI CHA into the preheated tea-pot. Pour the boiling water into the Herbal Infusion. Let infuse up to 8 Minutes and serve. To sweeten consider Rock Candy Crystals or Tea Honey. Remove infuser or pour your tea into another tea-pot or thermos carafe. Using an infuser or ‘Permanent Tea Filter’ for your cup or pot makes it easy to separate the grains from the beverage. Another preparation choice is to simmer 3 teaspoons of grains in 3 cups of water for 5 minutes. STORE COOL, DARK AND DRY!
